Rupee Beer Sponsors Annual NYC Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights

NO FOMO. EAT MOMO. Did you know one of the largest food crawls in America happens in the heart of NYC?!

We’re super excited to be sponsoring the 12th annual NYC Momo Crawl in the heart of Diversity Plaza in Jackson Heights, NYC – one of the most diverse neighborhoods on earth. What are momos you ask?!

Momos are a popular steamed or fried dumpling in Tibetan, Nepalese, and North Indian cuisine. They are often filled with meat, fish, or vegetables, and can be found in many places across South Asia, from street vendors to restaurants. Tibetan momos are usually half-moon shaped, while Nepali momos are typically round. In the early 90’s, Momo stands started popping up across Indian cities like New Delhi, and are now a super popular street food in several other Indian cities.

Find us at select partnering restaurants for Rupee samples along the crawl and don’t miss the momo eating contest in diversity plaza! See you all there
