Rupee Beer at Culinary Crossroads with Culture Tree & Asia Society in NYC

Indian food, flavor & the impact it continues to have around the globe was in full swing at Culinary Crossroads at Asia Society NYC this year.
Host & moderator Anu Sehgal from The Culture Tree beautifully brought to life everyone’s journey, story and passion to keep raising Indian cuisine to the next level.
A keynote was given by Ambassador Binaya Pradhan – talking about the long journey Indian food has seen in NYC, and how it now has become the cuisine that is leading representation, regionalization and innovation.
The evenings panel included a world-class mix of top Indian-American f&b leaders including:
- Award-winning cookbook author & founder of Maya Kaimal of Maya Kaimal Foods
- Mixology guru & general manager Hemant Pathak of Junoon NYC, one of the first Indian restaurants in North America to earn a Michelin star and Jazba NYC.
- Chef Vijay Kumar from NY Times #1 restaurant Semme NYC.
Cheers for having Rupee Beer and pouring all three of our gold-medal beers at the bars. When Indian cuisine, flavor and restaurants are winning, it’s a win for all of us!
